Preparing... (Part two!)

...I have my second interview on Tuesday, this time with the Senior Marketing Manager for our practice group. I'm up against one other candidate who I believe is external. |

Liz, you have an advantage if the other candidate is external. See if you can find out if the Senior Marketing Manager has something specific they're looking for i.e. a particular angle/avenue they're looking to explore. It also depends what job role you're going for. If it's a management role, is there a specific area of concern they're looking to get resolved? You can offer some tasters of resolutions if that's the case. Showing you've done your homework on the department you're wanting to join is always a plus. Good luck Cx |

In some companies, they *have* to advertise a position externally, even if they have someone they want to have the job. This makes the whole exercise a lesson in futility for the company and the person goign for the job. So I reckon you're on a promise. But, wearing a low-cut top is good advice for any situation. |

Just show up, put your feet up and demand sandwiches if it runs past midday. |

What if I wore a low cut top AND as I walk in the room, drop my pencil and bend down to pick up, will that win me the job? |
