Networking from another point of view.

It was great to hear about networking from the point of view of our 4 sighter Esi Hardy this week.

Esi is from Celebrating Disability. She told us about the challenges that she faces when going networking. From the venue having wheelchair access to, being able to sit at the table with her wheelchair and to join in with conversations.

Esi explained that if businesses do not make themselves accessible to people with disabilities, they are missing out on the purple pound, which is worth an estimated £249bn to the economy.

Businesses need to think about their websites as well their actual facilities to make the most of this and to make life a little easier for people for people with disabilities.

So next time on Tuesday 5th December......
