I just got sent an e-mail from a friend. A colleague of hers was in a shop at lunch time trying on a coat but there were no mirrors so she asked a woman near by if it looked alright. The woman said it made her look fat and walked off. I'm laughing because I can't believe someone would be so mean!! lol |

I wouldn't say she's fat. She's in her 50s, short and not thin. That's how I can describe her... she's such a sweet lady, you'd never say anything mean to her! |

What's wrong with honesty? Saying someone looks a sack of shite is far more preferable than saying they look great and then sniggering to yourself. Not asking or giving a toss what anyone else thinks saves your 'feelings' and is the only way forward when clothes shopping. |
