Hi Traci You can't really synchronise the two in the full sense of the word ( if you send mail from your phone it won't show up in outlook express sent items). If you are getting e-mail via POP or IMAP you can get the e-mail delivered to your phone but be wary that you have a data tariff on your contract or you could start paying through the nose for the e-mails |

Ideally you need to configure or send your email to an exchange based service such as fasthosts. This will enable the push function and you will be able to see folders on your phone as you would in outlook.
Outlook express is very limited and will only support a few simple email protocols such as POP3.
What you can do if you have not done already is to setup both outlook express and your phone to any POP email service such as gmail or hotmail. This way you will always see new emails/sent mails. However the synchronisation might not be the best.
Let us know how you get on. |

Your Nokia E71 has also a WLAN (wireless network) feature and it supports IMAP. Configure your email software as IMAP (not POP3) and you have the sync you want. Outlook Express may be limited but it does support IMAP. No connection to an MS-Exchange based service required.
This should work fine when you are in reach of your own WLAN in your office or anywhere near open hotspots. To achieve sync whilst on the road you need to carefully check first what your mobile contract charges for data transfers.
If this sounds far too much tech gobbledigock, you need to have somebody on site who takes you through this.
