Insure yourself against Employment Tribunal Claims for as little as £150 pa

It starts off with me undertaking an audit of your contracts, policies and procedures. For an agreed fixed fee I can get these up to date and in order. Then I provide a telephone hotline for you to call me or a colleague as and when situations arise at work. This is again provided for a small fixed annual fee. Its main benefit to you is that you get advice from an employment specialist and not from someone who is semi trained working in a call centre.

Then there is the insurance. For as little as £150p.a (and premiums can be paid in equal monthly instalments) you can be insured for any employment claim (the costs and the award) for a sum up to £250,000 per individual case or £1 million in aggregate for the year. Basically if you have had the audit, followed the phone advice then you will be covered. The insurance premium is based upon your annual wageroll and can be paid in monthly instalments so you can cost effectively cover yourself against the risks of a claim.

A claim against your business, particularly in the current economic climate could have very damaging consequences. Last year the highest award for unfair dismissal was around £76k whilst the largest award for disability discrimination was £227k. Employment Guard can firstly help you avoid such a claim, and then failing that insure you against such a claim being made.
