Hey! I had a great dream last night and it turned into a super idea! I want to raise money for the soup runs that provide the homeless with food on Xmas Day and in order to do that I'm putting together a 2010 Desk Calendar that I'll sell through 4N & all my contacts & at my events. ALL proceeds will go to charity so anyone who can give of their services & talent freely will be extremely appreciated in this project! My original idea was to get a bunch of my actor colleagues to each represent a month but then I thought it would be so much funnier to get 4Ners (no matter what your trade) to play a character for the photo shoot! I'm selecting 12 principal characters from my vintage murder mystery who are all completely eccentric although if you want to develop the character for the photo shoot, all creativity encouraged! So! I'm looking for: 1) 11 4Ners who are up for a laugh!(Pref 6 guys & 5 gals although some may want to cross dress?! anyhoo - I'm flexible)! I can provide character details & props & you can have fun with your character on the photo shoot. Your name and company name will be at the bottom of each month crediting your shot so it'll also be great publicity! 2) An amazing photographer who would be happy to do the shoot for charity! Again, it will be a lot of fun, a great networking session & your credits would go on the calendar. 3) Someone who works in print who could put the calendar together & get it printed for us. I don't know if someone could do this for free or perhaps do it at base rate so all profit after printing would go to charity. I myself will do the soup run Xmas Day and ensure that all funds raised will go this cause. Location wise - again, I'm flexible...perhaps depending on where the photographer is located? Or could we all do a 4N meeting together and then do the shoot afterwards? It'll be great fun, great networking & great promotion for you and your business. Wooooowwww!!!!! 8 people already and a fantastic photographer!!!!! Thank you very much guys - I'm very, very excited!!!!! Of course - if we get more than 12 of us - we get to do 2 people per shot - like couples, villains, enemies, lovers etc etc! ...and we can theme it even more! Very exciting! and as for the lovely Mike - of course you can be September as long as I can be June!!!!!!! :-) Thanks again guys,...now we just need some more fabulous characters & a lovely printer! |
