Inspired by GOYA, Brad mentions he puts on -

Being an older git this does it for me -

Whats yours?

"When you're young, you can eat what you like, drink what you like & still slip into your 26 inch waist trousers & zip them closed.. Then you reach that age... 24 - 25, your muscles give up, they wave a little white flag & without any warning at all you're suddenly a fat ba****d!" Arnold J Rimmer (Red Dwarf)

Want do do something about it??.. I did!

Call me cheesy, but a bit of John Williams always makes me feel like some kind of caped-hero...

All those amazing classics - E.T., Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter - I defy anyone to not work like a fiend with this stuff on in the background!

(plus, the added bonus that there aren't distracting lyrics - when I have to concentrate I can really only listen to instrumental stuff or lyrics sung in another language - like a bit of Bhangra dance music, yeah baby!!)

Ummm... this is really showing me for the muso-dork that I am, isn't it? Ah well...

One of my big passions in life is sailing, but I don't get to do it as often as I would like. The first couple of bars of this track and I am there at the helm of the beautiful 34' DuFour I sailed last year in the Ionian Sea.

I think this should be the GOYA anthem myself..

I can't hear it without remembering being in the audience of the leavers assembly of a very small village primary school, and hearing the kids sing it... being a soppy cow at the best of times, I was so chocked up I went through several packets of hankies..

There's something about young people that make you just want to get off your arse and do something amazing... to inspire them too.. so many have such limited expectations of themselves nowadays.. and that is a crying shame.. so when you hear kids that do get it.. oh boy...

GOYA for kids. That's what we need...Int'it Brad?

The Goya anthem should be Hi Ho Silver Lining by Jeff Beck..it contains the words flying across the country getting fat (think of all those 4N breakfasts passporters) - I love this song and used to sing it extremely loudly when I went to 18+ events (not 18-30 holidays but 18+ which was different).

It would be great if someone could PM me with the destructions on how to embed this.

This is so good it seriously makes me laugh out loud sometimes. Maybe I'm just unhinged. Seen them live and the best piece of advice I can give anyone who needs a mood lifter is " go and see them if they play near you."
