Look to the East (Region)

Today saw the inaugural meeting of all the individual Team Members of the Eastern Region, which is another first for 4N. Ably led and marshalled by Gary Johannes, he gave the group an insight into both how much has been achieved within the last year (co-incidentially, Gary J attended his first 4N meeting 1 year ago today) as well as what is in store for the next 12 months. This shows that 4N is in a fantastic position and the Eastern Region is at the forefront. Gary Gorman led a great session on how to make more of the Forum which was followed up with some amazing statistics about the 4N website from Peter Connolly. A group discussion followed (although the whole meeting was really a discussion anyway) about particular practices within the region. The whole morning was very well received, with all attendees contributing and consequently benefitting from this initial meeting. The benefits of meeting with other Team Members, outside of a usual 4N meeting are, in my opinion at least, huge and hopefully we will all be able to meet again to build on this initiative and share more "best practice" ideas for the benefit of ourselves, our teams and all the 4N members. Congratulations and thanks to all attendees but particularly to Gary J for getting this off the ground.

Woohoo....lots of live links through to events pages...top stuff. Caroline - you might want to link yours to the Lincoln list of events page much like Aegean has done by linking to http://www.4networking.biz/events/cambridge/ Linking to just the next event is great but as soon as the meeting has finished that page becomes redundant unless you overwrite it with the next event page (hope that makes sense...if not give me a heckle!!) The Lincoln one is here http://www.4networking.biz/events/lincoln/ GG |

Cheers for great feed back but it's all a bit embarrassing
As it's all down to a great teams, who all see the value to being involved and really want to make 4N work for themselves and all the members who attend their groups. That makes a powerful force. |

Some really great ideas came out of today and I learned so much. No one really disputed that Grantham is the best Group in the Eastern region either which obviously goes to show how fearsome Sir Gary Gorman is. |

Easy tiger! Grantham will find lots of competition from south of the region. Huntingdon rocked this morning despite the weather difficulties and St. Neots rocks at every meeting Today's meeting was fantastic particularly the dance video which started it off in the right mood. It was terrific to meet lots of the eastern region team members, many of which I have met once or twice before (so was great to renew the acquaintances) but even more so meeting members that I would otherwise probably never had the opportunity to meet. Particularly good to meet Kathy for the first time but through the power of Twitter it was like meeting an old friend. I think these Regional meetings will become standard procedure throughout 4N in a very short time. Only positive feedback from all that I've spoken to. [Grits teeth] Well done Gary. |

Peter talked about the Google juice you can get from the 4N forum. To illustrate this ...this very thread has now been picked up by Google within, what, five hours of being posted. Just had a Google alert to...strangely enough....alert me. Google Web Alert for: Gary Gorman
Look to the East (Region) It does work! |
