Fantastic meeting at Peterborough today, Yes it is 1 year today that I launch Peterborough group, the first in the region which has now grown to 14 groups, not bad in 12 months I was a great pleasure to see Sara Brown doing such a good job as group leader today with what has been my group all this time. But it was time to hand it over as I have so much to do supporting the whole region now. Sara brown was the perfect choice. Great team in Peterborough and I will always consider it as my home group..

Sorry I couldn't make it this morning - the old banger has lost it's direction (the car not me!). I was looking forward to Claire Dobinson's 4Sight as it's right up my street - perhaps you'll come across to Boston some time Claire? Yes that great group leader (what was his name, Gary somethin'?), master of quick wit and rapartee has now been replaced - handing over must have been difficult from the perfect storm to the perfect choice! |

I realise this is like 3 days late but if you could have a peak at my diary you'd forgive me - (I think)! It was Peterborough's first birthday! Can you believe that? I was at the launch meeting - who would have thought I'd be Group Leader one year later? If you knew what a drama it was for me to stand up and do my 40 seconds then you'd have doubts about me being Group Leader! Thank you Natasha, Grant, Chris etc for the complements and support. Claire Dobinson your 4sight was so informative and entertaining. I find myself making sure my feet are facing the right way (those who were there would know exactly what I mean!) I reassure myself in the knowledge that body language reflects what's REALLY going on so in that case it should all be ok - right? Any thoughts Claire? Oh and - yes I did tell Gary and Chris off! I also called Chris, Matthew instead of Chris. (Chris Matthews - get it?) Oh it's fun and games I tell you. Come along and join us some time! |
