As most of you will be aware 4N is raising money for Pash and on the 17th it will be my first meeting in my new role of Group Leader.

Here is my offer of raising some cash (as well as blatent attempt to get a load of people to my first meeting as group leader of Swindon) for Pash.

Come along to Swindon on the 17th Feb (book here) and have a new profile picture taken by me and instead of paying me the £25 it would normally cost, you give the £25 to the Cash4Pash fund.

So, you get a sparkly new profile picture, Pash gets a load of cash and everyone is a winner.

Thanks for the update Bruce. I'm popping to Swindon tomorrow for the first time, so looks like I picked a good occasion on several counts —

> an intriguingly titled 4SS slot from a fellow writer,

> and a great reason to get a professional profile pic done!

Do you take the photos indoors or outdoors, or is that weather-dependent? What are the backgrounds like – any available location pics for a preview?

Not sure that we can accommodate a truely tropical background but it is Wednesday and it's Swindon so there could be .......SNOW!

Hi Mark,

Background wise the pub lends itself to both out door (weather dependant) and indoor shots. For the profile picture shoots I don't bring additional backgrounds as the way I shoot (the lens and distance from any backgrounds ensures that there is minmal detail in the background.

I have not yet shot any profile pics at the Sun Inn but I am happy to take the pics and let you review them on the back of the camera before you decide to buy or not.

WOW! What a meeting. Many thanks to everyone who attended, both new visitors and seasoned members. You helped to make my first meeting as Group Leader go really well.

Gail's talk about her travels to visit the silver backs was fasinating, thank you for stepping in at the last minute.

Also, a big thank you to the Mark, Phil and Olly who had their profile picture taken this morning helping to raise £75 for the cash4Pash fund.

I just wanted to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome at today's meeting, thoroughly enjoyed it once the nerves had subsided! It was lovely to meet everyone and am looking forward to more networking and making visitors feel as comfortable and welcome as I was made to feel, thanks again everyone!

It was a really good meeting this morning and the 4sight was different and entertaining.

I like the new venue too as this was my first visit.
