I am based up in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland and am blessed with the best scenery in the UK - that is proven, a fact and I think its also against the law to dispute this. Nearly every day I see seals basking on the rocks near where I live. Just about every day I see the graceful Red Kites hovering over the main road. Every day I see buzzards - generally sitting on fence posts and I also see the most amazing mountains, rainbows, sunsets and vistas. I am truly blessed and now delighted to be able to share some of these amazing sights with corporate activity delegates. The Great Big Event Company has now harnessed the natural surroundings, combined them with the top Trip Advisor activity centre in Scotland and a fantastically experienced coaching company Wild Thinking to offer something really special. Our team building packages spend 1 day at Craggan Outdoors enjoy fantastic team building experiences such as gorge walking, raft building, high ropes, archery etc. Delegates then spend a night in the historic and welcoming Grant Arms Hotel in Grantown on Spey, walking to the hotel if they wish. On day 2 they experience tailor made coaching sessions delivered in a Nordic tepee complete with wood burning stove and reindeer skins. We build the natural environment into our packages to make delegates feel inspired, motivated, refreshed and reinvigorated. Prices for the whole packages start from £160 per person (based on 20 people) so offer excellent value. We can also offer rail and sleeper train packages as well as other transport options. Our break out room is the Cairngorms National Park. Our water cooler is the River Spey. Our air conditioning is the natural breeze. Our background music is the sound of the birds. Inspiring surroundings = inspiring results. Fresh air = fresh perspective. Low environmental impact = high business impact.

Hi Melanie - how jealous am I!! What a fabulous place to live and work. I am in South Yorkshire so if I decide to travel a bit out of my way I do see rolling hills etc but nothing as spectacular as your back garden sounds. In my younger days however I did work in London's west end so used to feel very smug that I got to see twice a day all the sights that others would only see occasionally. Hope you are getting the most our of 4N - keep in touch.

Hi Melanie, I guess most people reading your post are green with envy!! I do pass a small woodland on my way to work so sometimes see deer or my mate the buzzard. Welcome to the forum! |

It very much depends upon where I am going, into Cardiff Bay, down to Swansea or across the water to Bristol. Wherever I am going I now appreciate that I am not going to the same place every day and sat behind a desk doing endless monthly reports. |

Hi Melanie and welcome to 4Networking! I am very jealous I must say, it sounds amazing. I get to see horses occasionally on my way to work but other than that it's mainly irate drivers and Business Parks! I hope you enjoy 4Networking, the meetings are very relaxed and great fun, and welcome to the forum. Kind Regards, Sammi Hawkins

Our therapy rooms are in Central Bristol so most day on my way to "work" I enjoy a nice walk into Bristol. My favourite place is the bridge over the river by the Arnolfini (if anyone knows Bristol) I really like that place at almost any time of day or night! |
