CHANGING NETWORK MEETING TIMES Anyone else think 5.30pm to 6pm network meetings at the local pub (using spare area) would be far better attended than 8am.
Considering this would
a) miss rush hour traffic
b) not affect running our business opening and getting stated in the mornings.
c) allowing continued networking into the evening over a pint.
Most landlords would welcome the extra trade Monday/Tuesday early evening.

Once I have been out cleaning all day I am too tired to be bothered to go out again in the evening unless it is something really special. Also what would you do if you fancied going to a meeting 100 miles away, it would be ever so late getting back. I say keep it to the mornings without a doubt MIGHTY COLIN |

I'm a mornin' girl.... Anyway, if I run a comedy event it's in the evening...so I'd be a no-show.... |

In my experience its the right time to network, 7am is to early. I have been to few after hours events and you just dont get the same numbers going! |

I'm not a big fan of early mornings ... but I have to say people seem more focused at breakfast meetings. I think its because they all have to make an effort. |

Hi I tend to think morning networking events work better because: a) They miss the rush hour trafiic - but not too early! b) Unless something has happened at home nothing has happened yet during the day to stop people attnding therefore the attendance levels tend to be higher c) Early evening events are exposed to whatever has happened during the day can cause people to either be delayed because of work or too tired or cant be bothered at the end of the day therefore fallout rates tend to be much higher Regards |

Mornings are the best. I couldn't stomache the thought of going far in the evening and then getting caught up in traffic. |

I struggle in the mornings , especially winter. But when you get to a 4N meeting, it livens you up and Im always glad I make the effort. But yes I like evening and daytime meetings too. I dont go far on the passport as you either have to get up stupidly early and then I really wouldnt communicate other than UGH and Aghh or stay overnight which, unless you tie the trip in with something else, adds hugely to the cost. But Danny, theres nothing to stop you organising an evening meeting in your manor , outside of 4N |

Could help those who can't attend because of school runs. I think there's a market for both. |

Danny - writing this everywhere is really not a great idea - i've seen this post 4 times in about 3 minutes Evening networking suits some, breakfast networking suits others - try both and you'll see which one is best for you

Do we think that Danny Lee might turn out to be this weekend's Joy Rasmussen? And will there be a dragon involved? |

You guys don't know you're born! I've just left BNI because I could no longer stomach the 6.30am meeting time, I asked them to change it 8am but they're not allowed to change the times. Therefore I left with 3 months to run on my £500 investment, (or to put it another way £125 wasted). |

I'll get this in before Brad does - if you've got something better to do at 8am, go do it |

One thing I like about 4N is, it gets you up and out in the morning at a good time - ie not 10am - then waste an hour watching BBC News! |
