Well, it's a long story. I knew someone I did business with, they introduced me to someone else, who I did business with. I helped that person without expecting anything in return and they phoned me with leads they came across for which I was very grateful. One day they called and said that a hotel owner wanted a new website done and could I help. I called that person: Antony Field (4Nr) who runs the marvellous Fallowfields Hotel in Kingston Bagpuize was his name. He said can you take 'Bartercard?'. I'd never heard of it, but I said yes anyway, thinking I could sign up if it meant getting work! I went to see him - didn't get the work as he gave it to a Bartercard member. I found out about Bartercard and signed up. It's brilliant and through Bartercard found out about 4N which is brilliant too! Having sampled some of the networking groups in Milton Keynes, joined up to various associations and attended several City Breakfasts, I still hadn't found what I was looking for - until 4N that is! Just got my badge last week and feel very welcome, very connected and very supported. Thanks Brad and thanks 4Nrs everywhere! Sarah |

Hallo Sarah..know Anthony from 4Ning in Oxford and his wonderful hotel Fallowfields . Anthony grows all the produce and rears all the cows, pigs etc that they use in the hotel. Its a fabulous place for weddings and functions ....so all you Bartercard people can now book a great weekend away in the lovely Oxfordshire countryside..Enjoy!! |
