I think we need a team members thread.
Along the same lines of speakers corner - where interested passporters can stake an interested and groups can advertise the roles available.

For example -
Kings Cross is looking for a new Marketing Assistant - If you are interested then please let me or the group Leader Sarah know.

The event section now has an email link to apply for vacant positions - have a browse through groups that have positions vacant and you will see that it's quite prominent, as in this one.

BTW: Catching up to your total again...

Stop with the test posts!

I see what you mean but I just feel it would be easier for people to find out about 'vacancies' and interested passporters.

BTW - the map pin is wrong on Kings Cross.

Lee for Kings cross just edit the venue details and use the multi map link / postcode to find the Lat Long which may be closer

On a similar subject - I am group leader at Faringdon but desperately want to find someone else so I can concentrate on being AL - I keep thinking I'll just take myself off so the vacancy box will show up but then that might put people off coming if they think there's no GL! Any ideas on what I could do with that?

(Sorry to thread hijack, Paul :))

I think a 'Situations Vacant' area might be good. I love the new look group page but anyone wanting to get involved in a team would have to go into every group to see what was available. If there was a way of listing them all in one place (even if it is just the ALs posting in a forum) it would really help I think.

Similarly I'd like to see a facility to search for groups based on postcode i.e. I could put in my postcode and groups would be listed sorted by how far away they are.

Finally - I notice on the map that the little box that come up when you click on a pin shows the group meeting cycle e.g. Week 1 Wednesday, but to someone who doesn't attend meetings at all yet (and even to those of us that do) this doesn't mean a lot. I'm assuming that box is dynamically generated, in which case it could show the date of the next meeting instead.

There are lots of things I LOVE about this new website but that one really is cool!
