Sarah 'Pash' Howells - a very sad goodbye

PMA: There's Positive Mental Attitude and then there's Pash Mental Attitude. Pash was in a class all of her own. She inspired us all - before she got sick and after. We spoke after she found out she had breast cancer and she humbled me with her light heartedness. I am not so sure I could have maintained my sense of humour. Pash's life puts mine into perspective... we have one life guys, make the most of it. To Pash's family, friends and Neil: my deepest sympathy to you all. To Pash: with deepest gratitude for the impact you made on our lives xxx P.s. Where do I buy wellies??

Shocked, even though knew this was coming. Sarah was, and is, a stunningly beautiful woman and human being. So sorry for her husband and family. |

Met Pash once only at 2008 4N Xmas bash - we were on the same table. A beautiful lady who lit up our table! "Stunning" was the word Susie (my wife) used to describe her. This is just so terribly sad. Pash very clearly touched a lot of people's lives in a positive way. |

They don't get much hotter than our Pash.. as i said the last time we went out, she was that hot she even got chatted up by 2 stunning blondes.. it was highly surreal after 2 trays of sambucha.. i'll always remember it as we was together when news that MJackson died... Welly Wednesday guys/gals have a look at any relevant groups that are running on a wed and come up with suggested date.. we'll make the call this wednesday as to the date. Love our Pash.. |

People Come into Your Life For a Reason
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime. |

Sarah believed in this sentiment.... she quoted it often, unfortunately it was mostly to justify a shoe purchase.... but sometimes about people in her more mushy moments |

Dear Stef, I have been reading all the post this morning and so sad to see this post the morning after. My thoughts and prayers are with Sarah's husband, friends and family I want to say that I had some post replies and personal messages form Sarah and they were always positive and inspirational. I particularly remember her enthusiasm in wanting to come to Haldon Belvedere (Lawrence Castle just for two people) as a romantic break with her husband. Sadly I never got the confirmed date Sarah, I wish you a safe passage and may your light continue to shine to all that you have touched in this lifetime Love Russ x
