Those of you who've been on here a while may recall that another 4N member kindly tracked down my lost-lost godmother for me last spring. (Full story in the Articles section if you want the background).

Anyway, several months down the line, I was back in my birth town of Brighton at the start of September for a conference. I took a couple of extra days off to catch up with people and I also had lunch with my godmother! I hadn't seen her since I was 13 and hadn't spoken to her since I was 24 (and I'm now 45, so do the maths).

Despite the long gap, I recognised her straight away when we met up and we had a really brilliant time catching up with each other.

Thanks again, 4N - this is really is the top network!

Louise, that is brilliant. I'm really glad you've posted actually because it's just reminded me - at work yesterday I sat having supper and picked up a Readers Digest because it had an article on 'the worst things you could do in a medical emergency' (or something like that) so I turned to the section and it was headed - Louise Bolotin, Chester - I felt quite proud that I 'know' you. (I'm a Staff Nurse btw, so normally wouldn't read Readers Digest but just found article interesting, haha!)

Blimey, Karen, I did that RD interview yonks ago! I'm an official case study at the National Society for Epilepsy, so I often get asked to do press. I'm quite amused that that issue is still circulating. It WAS a good article though.
