Does 4N need an Iphone/Ipad app?

If so tell me more..

Doesn't need iPad ap, as the website works just fine

iPhone App may be useful as the website is tiny on it (or possibly a mobi website).

Would use it for booking meetings rather than forum as the keyboard is too fiddly to do much forum typing.

I would only bother if it was cheap and easy to do

I could see a good use for one, booking meetings, browsing meeting in your area using the locator etc... but beyond that i'm not sure.

1 problem i do have at the moment is that the forums seem to not want to work on my ipad, if that could be sorted i would be a happier bunny

Site doesn't work across mobiles for all manner of reasons, on WebOS based mobiles (Palms and the like) the minute I click into the reply box it pings up to the top of the screen which means I have to type blind.

On Windows Mobile on this other phone I have the layout vanishes on some pages and buttons don't appear on other pages.

So generally don't use mobile to use the site :)

A meeting booking app thing would be pretty easy to knock up though, similarly a forum app too considering it all sits on a big database it's just repurposing that data into a different User Interface.

Anyone on here do Iphone apps and have some heritage and not gonna want to stripe us up?

What about a geopositioning app - so you can see what 4n people are nearby and go and get a beer/another breakfast with them?

can you sort out a rocket pack and a flying car whilst you are there, too?

I've no idea, i think the price point is going to be the issue here, if someone can show us an iphone app they succesfully done and have a sensible price then you may have a deal.

Don't forget an Android app for those of us us with superior technology!

There is no need for a specific, dedicated iPhone/ mobile app.
There is a definite need for a mobile working version of the current site plus a ton of other niggles needing ironing out.

Let's put it this way.

If having an app would take the overall site to level 5, currently you're at the end of level 3/ beginning of level 4.
