Found on a newly built apartment complex down the road from my house, this BIG poster that is probably about 18/20ft long contains a fairly glaring mistake! How the designer, owner of the apartments who would have commissioned this poster, or even the printer didn't spot it, amazes me! If you're having stuff put out in the public eye, please spell check it! (They need The Proof Fairy!) #Fail

Also, I didn't get a pic of it as couldn't get it whilst in the car, the same sized poster on the other side of the building spells 'apartment' with two p's - appartment. Ludicrous. |

I don't think that's the reason why they did it, but I am sure that billboard is getting a lot more attention and word of mouth than if it did not containt that typo! |

Javier, I see where you're coming from BUT - if they're that careless about spelling on a 20' billboard how much care will they take with the actual construction? It just doesn't inspire confidence! |

Ow. These kind of humongous spelling and proofing errors make my eyes bleed. There's a poster outside my local Waitrose advertising the Link machine facility, proclaiming 'all major cards excepted'. I'm going to go up there in the middle of the night with a large marker pen and sort it out, it annoys me that much. |
