A poll of 20,000 consumers has found that the typical owner of the Apple device is power-hungry and has little time for the concerns of others. According to those polled the image of someone who owns an iPad is of a selfish workaholic businessman between 30 and 50 who has an unhealthy interest in making lots of money. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/apple/7918043/iPad-owners-are-rich-and-self-centred.html its in the telegraph so it must be true.... there is probably a opportunity to develop a selflessness application to download and train with if you can stop being self centred for a while. Q-does this all sound like Ipad envy? i may protest too much?

After being told it will take a month to get iphone 4 in stock in Recent St. after I reserved it, Apple managed to have them available in about 1 week!! and so I bought a couple of iphone 4s and a ipad thinking I had to hurry up while they have these in stock! It's Apple's sales strategy: to make people feel it's hard to get hold of one, so hard, some people like me won't think twice on price. When there are stocks, people may think carefully since they always feel there is no rush they can get whenever they like, so not making decision on buying it at all. To follow the topic, yes, I think the ipad owners I met are rich (not applicable to me, I bought it for my app team), not sure if they should be classified as self centred though, most of them simply think it's easier to use ipad than traditional laptop. |

Toluna were giving ipads away for free for people to test..can't think why though. I have no need for an ipad as it is just more clutter. |
