Sign for kids play area - artist in Hampshire / Dorset

Hi there,

Slightly random request but thought I'd give it a shot. I am currently researching some ideas for a family pub garden - want to re-vamp the kids area and I'm looking into getting a couple of signs made for entrance, directions etc

Not sure on materials, metal or wood, painted, carved or the size yet but want something colourful and durable. Just after local sources for now ... any ideas out there?

Do what most of the kids groups in our area are doing, get the kids to design one and pick the best.

Great, thanks for the speedy reply. I'm hoping to get the local school involved for some mosaics but the sign design might be worth a ponder ... cheers!

just back off holiday, hope to be firing on all cylinders by Monday ish!! Will give your idea some thought and get back to you. One idea following on from the suggestion of asking children to submit designs, is maybe to involve the children in the making of the sign?
