I just read in the thread about the Saddleworth launch with Lancashre and Yorkshire 4Networkers coming together to passport at the newly formed 4N group. The passport it revolutionary it really is... it seems so obvious a move now.. powerful powerful stuff I go to 4N groups from Southcoast to the highlands, east to west and meet all manner of amazing people and awesome businesses we're all linked by the passport network. Go outside of your comfort zone and experience the thrill of being a 'new boy\girl' when passporting outside your home gound. |

Passporting rocks...I have stepped out of my comfort zone a few times now and its great...it is also a way of showing to folks whose groups you visit (especially those who are an hour or so's drive away) that if you can visit them they can visit you and already we are reaping those rewards in Redditch. |

I attribute the passport entirely for my business being national instead of regional. It's ace |

Next week I'm going to Harrogate, Hemel Hempstead and Redditch meetings - stopping in at Doncaster and London in between to catch up with 4Ners, as well as Birmingham on Sunday/Monday for the AL conference. Prior to Jan this year, I'd never left the North East for business purposes. |

I have only been a member for a short while. To date I have been at breakfasts in Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Kent... I'm off to Redditch in a couple of weeks to support Denise in her new role. Loving it. |

passport + forum = winning combination I doubt one would be as effective without the other. |

I've been all over place with my passport travelling as far as Newcastle, Bristol, Birmingham and am planning even more travelling about expeditions for the next few months. It makes a massive difference if your business is national (even if it isn't, it's great for contacts around the country). We now use suppliers from all over the UK, our 4n clients are from all over the place and on top of this we've had a lot of fun doing it (green drinks = win) |

The passport is amazing, I live slap bang in the middle of two regions and love to go to different meetings, I've booked into my furthest one away to date at Humber Bridge and try to book meetings round 4N breakfasts. Denise |

I love my 4N passport and the doors it opens, but I have a question? Is there any benefit at all to being part of a community based single group? |

I'd say single group membership negates about 70% of 4Ns usefulness. Don't get me wrong its still better than no networking or a referal base, but the opportunity to work it around your schedule and work load is immense. Imagine sat around on a thursday with nothing better to do and not going to the 4N up the road because you were only single group. Madness. |

If you combine the visibility passporting (now a recognised verb!) and the forum give you, it has changed the game a lot. Without these, I doubt membership would work for me. Right from day of joining, the ability to rock up 'off patch' has proved to be of enormous value. |
