Just been reading again how someone would like to make a meeting but can't make mornings. I have now also joined that team, although I hope it won't be too long before the medication sorts itself out and I can once again function before 11am! But I was thinking, would it not be possible to hold 1 evening meeting a month say, per region? Even if it's done quite informally to start with to see how much take up there might be? I'd be happy to put my hand up to organise one in Somerset. |

Not a bad idea... I have the same problem but with childecare and can only make Tuesdays, unless the other half is on holiday, then I go crazy in one week! I'll be fine in around 6 years time but thats quite a while to wait, lol! |

I would be happy to run one in Surrey. Sounds like a great idea. |

I'm all for it, having them in the evenings would make me being drunk a far more acceptable occurrence. ;) |

Heck I'd even go to one. I'm a vampire so can't do daylight. |

Maybe when we got the UK breakfast networking scene buttoned off we may look at it, if i was you guys organise your own social events using the 4N ptform to promote and encourage them. We've had curry4networking nights and so forth, nothing stopping you doing that. Go for it, i'd come. |

Certainly some food for thought... hmm am now thinking an evening of light entertainment / odd band maybe to round up / with the possibility of business passing and plenty of eating, socialising and drinking to be had.. One for the drawing board.. altho I'd have to say definitely informal though! |

I'd be happy for the odd evening event. I am definitely a night owl (1am is an early night for me!) and am finding it difficult to adjust to the 6am starts! |

Night owl me too! Evening meetings sound like a good idea, let's run them past the morning meeting members and see who likes the suggestion! |

We've put 4N related social events on the 4N booking system before now and would do the same again. |

This is the beauty of 4N, talk about something openly and it may happen. |

It's a win, but it takes somebody to get their finger out and organise things - no matter how many people put their hand up and say they'd go, and it's a prospect that most people shy away from. As networkers we're all very happy to get involved and reap the benefits when somebody else has done the hard work (myself included) but if the right person isn't there in the center pulling it all together then it's nigh on impossible to get these things off the ground. |

Phil Hendy and Roland Milward - both 4N stalwarts - already do something along these lines for Wiltshire based business holding monthly evening meetings in Devizes and Malmesbury - http://wiltsbizclub.co.uk/ The best bit of course is that when the meeting finishes at 7.30pm you are in a pub! |
