about running your own business....what would it be? I'm not talking about the Get off Your Arse syndrome, as we all know that's a given, but what do you feel you have learned about people, or perhaps management, that you didn't realise before? JJ |

I can relate to this stuff...its great. Lisa, I've learned about the 'yes' syndrome too. There is certainly a huge difference between what people say they will do, and what they actually do. For me, I've found it hard to value my own time too. As an entertainer you get asked to do so much for free 'cos people think you're just having fun. They don't think about the prep that has to go into it. jj |

I have learnt how to create opportunities, rather than do everything myself I outsource the things I don't like doing. I am learning not to give stuff for free because people will continually take. |

Don't do work based on a promise. When we first started we used to do work for people at a lower cost on the 'promise that loads more will follow' however it never happened! |
