about running your own business....what would it be?

I'm not talking about the Get off Your Arse syndrome, as we all know that's a given, but what do you feel you have learned about people, or perhaps management, that you didn't realise before?

I can relate to this stuff...its great.

Lisa, I've learned about the 'yes' syndrome too. There is certainly a huge difference between what people say they will do, and what they actually do.

For me, I've found it hard to value my own time too. As an entertainer you get asked to do so much for free 'cos people think you're just having fun. They don't think about the prep that has to go into it.

I have learnt how to create opportunities, rather than do everything myself I outsource the things I don't like doing. I am learning not to give stuff for free because people will continually take.

Experts in organising events both large and small - anything from team building, conferences, exhibitions, business networking events and meetings through to office parties and product launches.  If you are organising an event and need some advice..give me a call and I will call you straight back.

Don't do work based on a promise.

When we first started we used to do work for people at a lower cost on the 'promise that loads more will follow' however it never happened!

Sending out documents for signature is a real pain. It takes weeks to deliver the document to your client, for them to sign it and then finally for them to send it right back. Signable takes just seconds to deliver a 100% legally binding document straight to your clients inbox for them to sign on the dotted line right there, right then.

Greatly increase your sign-rate
Get your documents signed now, not tomorrow or next week. We've all had that client that wanted to sign on the dotted line, but a week later weren't so sure. Increase your sign-rate and watch the money roll in from the contracts you would never have won before.

Would agree with Liz on this one, unfortunately missed the boat in 2000 and no chance now.
