I agree with Danny - an android for the win, better than an iphone any day of the week. You can download Kindle for free on android.

iPhone vs Android moves to the tablets and becomes iPad vs aPad!

Can iPad competitors compete? £120 for the Android-powered aPad http://bit.ly/a8ag6f

Went the oppsite direction Brad. IP4 nice bit of kit shame about the phone element and battery life though (in my experience). Gone to BB Bold 9700 love it and have the IPod Touch for the sexy bits that Apple do.

The one thing about the Apple product is the user interface. Nothing touches it, just like nothing touches the original Sky menu system for AV usage at the time.

They both just work. Apple work on humanising the technology and hiding all the tech gubbins that people really don't care about. That's where windows went wrong and to a degree android does a bit.

Apps make every phone personal and unique which helps form a different relationship with the tech. It's my phone my way, not how the manufacturer decides.

Android is getting there bbut doesnt have the same breadth of app or level of development yet. It'll come and things will get interesting but Apple will continue to have the big focus.
