Is it any wonder people are unhappy about infighting when the PR agency for Brad/4N tries to start public fights on Twitter? This came out of the blue. It is very misjudged. Notice she did it in a way to broadcast to everyone, not privately. An attempt to publicly discredit me. Is this what Brad pays for? PR Mira asked you a perfectly rational question. You responded with a phrase that she has already said, many times, she is not happy with. So who's starting the fight? Even knowing the background to this, your responses are bitchy. Without the background you just come across as plain rude. Sorry ... just saying |

But it is ambiguous! Your website states "I am Ling from Dragons' Den". To me, that says you are either the presenter of DD or one of the Dragons, rather than "Ling, as seen on Dragons' Den once." So given the relationship you two have here now, and the fact that you have been questioning the validity of the claims that other businesses make, it's perfectly ok IMHO that she should seek clarification of a statement you make on your own site - because it is ambiguous. And anyway, Mira is a person in her own right, and is commenting as PR Mira, not as anything to do with 4Networking. I'm an AL for 4N and I promote the groups, forum etc but that doesn't mean that I am representing their view in everything I say and do. |

Um, surely it is Mira who's business it is. She is allowed to express her own opinions. Does it matter that 4N are a client? You have brought it to the 4N forum and tell-taled to Brad! Why should Brad or anyone tell her to stop. |

Alison, Alison. PR Mira is 4N's PR Agency. She is trying to start a fight with a member on Twitter. I am sure she is a person in her own right, but she is 4N's PR person. Which really means she should attempt to protect the organisation, not start public online fights on Twitter with members. It's just irresponsible and pretty stupid. You can tell from her response that she wasn't looking for the question to be answered, she simply wanted to start a fight. Is this as good as it gets 4N? I get the feeling she should really speak for herself... and no kidding, this really is true PR Rubbish. It does no one any good. Pointless. I just want to show members here what goes on, don't rock the boat or the PR dogs get unleashed. No one will admit or deny if she was instructed. Either way, it is pretty stupid and calls into question the PR expertise. |
