Snow time again

I have just received my Fedex daily report and see that heavy snow in Aberdeen and Yorkshire areas are affecting deliveries. We in Central Scotland are having snow forecast tonight, the gritter lorries are out! Every year we get snow and it's almost as if there's nothing else to talk about, certainly not much in the way of normal business in the first few days. How will the snow affect you in business (if at all)? |

Because we all use VoIP we can all work from home, but it does affect meetings and new customer face to face gatherings. |

It may affect 4N meetings especially as the venue used by Redditch is down country lanes which tend not to get gritted although I do now carry a snow shovel in the car..just need to add the rest of my winter emergencies to the car such as a warm fleecy blanket and a supply of Mars Bars. |

I can feel a trip with the deerhound up one of them this weekend coming on.

Peter - what a great view ! ! Here in Fife we are normally either all or nothing - and we usually don't get snow when it is forecast and then do get when it isn't. Typical!! |

I look out at Ben Ledi, it's had snow for a few weeks now. How is it very bad for your business? |

Our Accountancy practicecan keep going..we only have to walk a mile to work --unless the schools close then one of us has to stay home to look after the little darlings. Just hoping it doesn't come down at the weekend as I've got 3 Xmas fairs to do, so that WILL affect my income! |
