E225 Error on Canon Laser Printer

Does anyone know what an E225 error is on a Canon Laser Printer? I can't find any useful information online and am starting to worry! I've turned the printer off and on again several times but to no avail....HELP!!! Thanks, |

Apparently...
E225 1. The scanning lamp (xenon tube) is faulty 2. The inverter PCB is faulty 3. The CCD/AP PCB is faulty 4. The reader controller PCB is faulty. Several possible issues. If the printer is worth less than £200 I would say it was beyond economical repair. |

Thanks Martin! I have uninstalled the drivers and then reinstalled them! It's working at the minute but time will tell!! I've only had it just over a year so wud b very cross if it died!!

Hi, is this the same as in my hp printer? It happened when i refilled the printer ink and after a day or two the error pops out.. Im reinstalling the driver and waiting to get it fixed.. |
