I think the issue with a lot of these schemes is to make decent income you need big lists and contacts, they might work in the US but us Brits tend to be a bit more reserved and hate being spammed which means bigger networks are difficult to build. As a career professional sales person I've never been convinced by this type of model. |

Showing my ignorance, what does it do that a search on Google/Amazon/eBay won't do? I'm guessing collate the results but then Google's shopping feed does that reasonably well... Maybe there's something I'm missing but it's not a program I'd run. I've near enough always got a web browser open but wouldn't necessarily be bothered to run another program just to search the web. Hi Rachel This has been debated quite strongly in the past on here. Lee Rickler who is a well respected member is a strong critic and I would advise to listen to what he has to say if he posts on this thread. The name of the guy Mike refers to is Alan (can't remember his surname) he is a fan and has made money out of it. I gave it the once over and agreed with Lee so passed on it. Hope this has helped. |

I think it is Alan Platt. There are a few legal debates about it, as it appears to be more of a pyramid scheme. |

this was done to death on the MLM forum. I think the general consensus was --not worth it/scam/potential scam/potentially illegal/will wear itself out |

I promised not to rant about such things anymore - if people cannot work out the scams then it's not for me to point it out to them. |

Rachel Please don't do it, NO NO NO!! Find something else!! I re-itterate all the points above! I gave the genie a go back in July & it just didn't work for me?! Funnily enough there were loads of networkers around at the time for MSG but they all seem to have disappeared!!!..... Best advice I can give...if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is!!! Derek

Had the hard sell on this before, felt like a pyramid scheme so gave it a swerve. If anyone's making millions from it, good luck to you! |

Hi Rachel I 100% endorse my shopping genie, I would advise you do your own due dilligence and understand what it is before making a decision if its for you or not - I would be happy to talk to you to help you get the facts, then go back to the person who introduced it to you and join if its a fit with you. Some people make posts who do not have a clear understanding of the model, which is fine, but for you to consider something properly, you need to find out the correct facts. Re legality I am happy to provide you direct with the legal opinion to show how it IS LEGAL By a top lawyer who was also the former vice president of the World federation of Direct Selling Associations ( he endorses My Net Universe), its not a scheme, nor a scam or a pyramid scheme but a professional company which is going through huge international expansion, we are launching in holland, sweden and malaysia this month alone. A sky TV channel recently bought a licence, as they are regulated by offcom, they said they would get there team to do full do diligence on the company as anyone they align with have to be bona fide, they even went into company accounts etc - they came back and said - all legal and above board, they bought a licence and will be making a tv program on how good it is ( they have 10 million subscibers to their channel) There are many more examples i can show you even major football clubs have licences now and have the genie link on there official websites - M.S.G is bigger than ever and here to stay. I noticed one person saying no dont do it, as he did not make money with it, there are thousands of people that do make money - the company is the same, the application is the same, the opportunity is the same for all, the variable is the individual, so i wont say any more on that point. You dont need big lists, I was with a 22 year old student last night - he was telling me that he sponsored 1 person which expanded into 1700 people in his team ( all started with 1) if someone does not know a lot of people - no problem, introduce it to 1 person who does, by the way in the last 7 months that 22 year old student has made $33500 - so people are making money. Also re a point in this thread - brits on this occassion are not reserved, we are having bigger growth here than they are having in the states - in just over 7 months my downline has grown to over 6000 people - looking forward to seeing what it will be in 2015. As a percentage more people in the uk price compare online than they do in the states, again a good reason why this business suits the uk market. I met a major organisation today who are coming on board - they were sold even just on the branding - with the app we can get their branding on the front page of google regardless of the search for less than 65p per day ( its $29 per month to have the system) and they have the potential to raise funds. Re the app, I was at a 4N breakfast meet yesterday, One of the ladies there mentioned to me that she installed my app and saved £150 in december whilst buying 2 christmas presents, shes not in the business just loves the app, why wouldnt she if it saved her £150, by the way i gave it to her for FREE and it costs nothing for her to use ( when she used it I earnt money)- win win . Will M.S.G. be for everybody - No, but we are all entitled to our opinions, Would all companies be for everybody, again No, do all mlm companies have some people who do not make money who join and it does not work for them, Yes. My best advice is speak to the people who understand the business, Do your full due diligence, find out the full facts for yourself then make your decision based upon accurate information. If anybody wishes to install the app for free to see for yourself goto www.bedoandhave.co.uk and click get the free app. I hope this helps Regards |

The MLMers will say that you need to buy a license to distribute it - just point them to the free link above. Hi Lee you are correct anyone can distibute AN app for free, someone can take my link and pass it on to friends or family for free http://www.myshoppinggenie.com/msgdownload/msg_classic.aspx?free=38146&n=a0aac60af2b14892b96c852e079a0e9c ( i posted the link here direct to the page) or visit www.bedoandhave.co.uk and click get the free app. what people have to buy a licence for is to distribute thier own app so they make they money from the usage - if someone passes my link on, I would be the one that gets the income, not the person who passed it on. Also without buying the system/licence they could not brand an app or have there own websites, they could not earn or sell other systems/licences. This mlmer says if you wish to distibute your own app, you need to buy a licence. If you wish to pass someone else link on you dont need to buy a licence. one you will earn with - one you wont. I hope this clarifies this point Regards |

If it was free to sign up a distributor I might give it a go, but as it costs I'm not even going to put the effort in. I think the MSG website itself just looks like a scam, the whole idea is just beyond me! Would not recomend it, but if people are making money from it - fair play. Are there are any other distriution schemes which work like MSG? |
