Business Seminars in or around Midlands?

Afternoon all. Last year I went on a business Seminar in Wales, not only did it give me loads of information but boosted my confidence too. After everything that went on last year I feel I could do with something like that again but don't know where to find these seminars/promotions. Any information please? xx

Hi Amanda.  There a are a lot of free seminars out there.  Business Link - for example http://www.howtowithbl.co.uk/events.aspx in the West Midlands. Try Universities with Business services, for example Wolverhampton has a range that are free http://www.wlv.ac.uk/default.aspx?page=6984

Another place to try is www.birmingham.gov.uk/businessinsight - I know that they have a week (in the summer if memory serves me correctly) when they will hold free seminars over 7 days.

Amanda - register with www.finditinbirmingham.com - they have some free events coming up - there is a big green exhibition at Edgbaston Cricket Ground next month - free but if you go by car then you can park all day for £2,  There will be speakers, it will be an opportunity to network too.

Amanda - I have just been notified of a free seminar by Birmingham Chamber - only 300 places available:

The Seminar is called Clicking with Customers and is about how to get the best out of your website.  You can register at www.live.yell.com/birmingham - it takes place at the Centennial Centre on Icknield Port Road in Birmingham on 3rd March and it starts at 8.30am with registration and runs til 12.30pm

I know about these things because I network with finditinbirmingham and get regular enewsletters from Birmingham Chamber.  I have used Birmingham Insight in the past and keep up to date with their business events (they email me every so often).
