Can somebody recomend a good broadband please

I work from home and my current supplier is Tesco and I am not happy with the service.

Can somebody recomend me a a reliable good home broadband supplier  and an idea on the cost

O2 is the best

you could also look at the Mifi from 3 network - it is better than broadband in some ares is mobile and you can run 5 machines of it ...

To see what broadband services are actually  available at your home address visit  http://www.samknows.com/broadband/broadband_checker  it is a very useful tool.

If it says TalkTalk (CPW) LLU is available then Utility Warehouse LLU will normally be available.

One question to ask is

What are you not happy with?

If it's speed then this maybe outside of the ISP's control. If you live out in the sticks and are miles from an exchange then it's going to be slow what ever happens.

If it's just that they have a really poor customer service then I'd recommend UW as well.

But let us know what your not happy about and we may have other ideas that can help.

i think the utility warehouse is the best option.

From my own personal experience;

A provider can be great in one area and rubbish in the next - It all seems to boil down to what equipment they have and how they are interfaced at the local exchange.

For instance I had a fantastic service with Sky's package when I lived in Barry but it is rubbish in Pontypridd, because their exchange equipment here is pants. Have a word with a few local people, see who they use and if they are happy with them
