Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for making today's first meeting at the Premier Inn Dover Central (Marine Court) a resounding success. Special thanks go to Jim Leeves (Burgess Hodgson) who entertained us with his coalition budget review surrounded by stunning views of the Dover Marina and digested our wonderful breakfast. As the first meeting at the venue, we would appreciate feedback on the venue and the breakfast to ensure we can improve it for next time (though that would be tricky with the breakfast as it was such a high standard). Dont forget to book on to the next Dover meeting for Joyce Sewell's 4sight on understanding the telecoms process. I know that my opinion will be considered bias but I am entitled to my opinion. The venue was really nice and the staff professional and helpful. For a first time meeting at a new venue I was more than impressed by how well everything went. The 1-2-1's break out areas allowed privacy yet were close enough to get everyone moving on when needed. The food was outstanding and I even got two eggs to replace the tomato and beans to which I have a strong aversion. If you want it; ask for it and that includes porridge. A little noise from passing guests and excited children, but nothing that I felt was any real disruption. Venue wise 9/10 which is more than I give my own. |

't was a very good meeting, 't had a very good atmosphere, 't was a very good venue, 't allowed me to cement some relationships and 't gave me some very good tips. From tax to testimonials. A chance to gaze out over the sea with the White Cliffs of Dover to the side - great new venue for a buzzing Dover 4N meeting today. Wonderful breakfast and interesting and interactive 4Sight from Jim Leeves. Staff were great and looked after us well. A great start for a new venue and on a clear day we will be able to look out over the water and see France! 3 visitors already booked for our next meeting so looks to be a good one! Book in now for the 11th May............... |
