I am a career manager and consultant specialising in all aspects of change management. Until recently I was a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. My USP is the breadth of my knowledge of business processes and how they interact. The combination of strategy and process is a potent skill.
My formative years as a manager were with BT where I undertook management roles in several different functions, rising to a senior level. Subsequently, as an independent consultant, I led the business process element of a number of major international projects for companies such as IBM, Nortel, and Equador Consulting. On more than one occasion I designed the whole of the process structure for major new francise operations.
With a colleague I developed the Corporate Signpost Toolkit which is the ultimate bratnstorming tool for business. It helps with decision making, problem solving, ideas generation and relationship managment. It is also fun to use. I'm very proud of it and happy to give demonstrations.
Because I enjoy what I do and wish to continue to exercise my talents without the stress of extensive travel, I offer my expertise to local companies at fees that are 25% of what used to be charged for my time. That has got to be a good deal.
On a personal level, I enjoy horse riding, reading, theatre, cinema, eating out and walks in the countryside. I'd also enjoy boating, if I had the chance.
