Living close to Aberystwyth in West Wales, I am married with three grown up boys, two of which are twins and born on different days. I was a member of Her Majesty's Armed Forces (Territorial Army) from 1977 to 1993 and attended the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, which resulted in appointment as a Commissioned Officer in Her Majesty's Land Forces. Whilst serving I was second in command of a team that won the Cambrian Patrol Competition, one of the toughest and most arduous military skills competitions in the world.
I am a member of the Long Distance Walking Association and thrive on arduous long distance walks, mainly along the welsh coast. My ambition when I retire is to walk the whole of the wales coastal path, some 800 miles., I have a keen and passionate interest in rare 60's and 70's soul music namley Northern Soul.
I am also Area Leader for Swansea and Bridgend 4N.
In May 2016 I did a tandem parachute jump for charity, 12,000 feet, best buzz of my life !!!
