Charmian Brewer (Full Circle Sport)

Full Circle Sport is an independent training company based in Somerset, providing training across the UK.  Initially, we started in the Active Leisure and Recreation sector, though through natural growth and development we are now able to provide training in all other business sectors, employing and training people through apprenticeships and other recognised qualifications, increasing their knowledge and providing them with skills to improve their employment prospects.

We work with 16 - 18 year olds that have not wanted to go on to further education from leaving school and not in employment as well as young people that have not achieved in the usual learning environment.  Apprenticeships provide training and qualifications taught in the working environment and now with Foundation Learning available and Work Programmes available we are working with even more people of all ages.  We can also provide development programmes  to help others who wish to develop their skills to improve their employability.

We work with employers to recruit and train new and existing employees, enabing them to maximise both the employees' and their business potential.

We are an approved training company with a proven track record of delivering education programmes to a variety of employers including Sports Clubs, Further Education colleges, professional, semi-professional and amateur football clubs as well as the business sector.

Having spent nearly 20 years in the financial industry, in a variety of jobs, I have now taken a different direction utilising many of the management and training skills learnt during that time.

I worked my way up from a part time customer service assistant (building society cashier) to a manager, sometimes with around 40 members of staff in different offices around the country.  I was fortunate enough to be involved in many management development programmes for the training and development of managers and staff as well as the development of systems and programmes that were implemented throughout the company across the UK. The skills and knowledge I built up during that time are the ones that I am now putting to good use with Full Circle Sport to develop the company strategy and business to ensure high quality training and services.

I really enjoy being out there working with people from a variety of backgrounds, seeing the training being delivered and watching peoples' development and their growth in confidence during the period we're involved with their training, helping them progress in their skills to improve their success in employment.
