My Company Information

Webnetism specialise in designing bespoke websites and web based applications to fit your working practices. This means you don’t have to change the way you work to fit a template or off the shelf system.

Effective graphic design
Our team of graphic designers are all well versed in the latest design techniques and have many years of experience designing websites of varying types from corporate and commercial to ecommerce. Each website is designed to enhance the brand and make the user journey as simple and effective as possible.

Strong development
Our history in pure software development has set us up well for following strict coding standards and development methodologies. Our team work mostly on the Microsoft .net platform using C# and SQL Server though we do PHP and MySQL development too. All our projects are bespoke and we don’t use any templates, so you can be sure your story is all yours and not shared with anyone else.

Fast deployment
Through good project management standards we are able to provide accurate deployment time tables on new projects. For updates and support on existing work, you can expect a same day response to almost any query. Need a website deployed quickly? We can do that too using our multi-site CMS platform.

About Tim Jay

What does your typical day at Webnetism involve?

There’s a lot of technical stuff that goes on here, but I do the “really” important stuff – I make the websites and web based applications look pretty.

I’ve been designing for web this since the mid 90’s and in terms of the internet as we know it now, that’s a long time. Long enough to have had to worry about the user experience over a 26kb modem. I remember a time before Google and when Flash was the new exciting future of the web.

Now it’s all about responsive website designs built in HTML5 and CSS3 that adapt whether on a desktop computer, tablet, the latest iPhone or Android device Mobile.

But the one consistent thing through all this is users expect good looking results and easy to use, intuitive solutions and providing that is what I'm good at.
