I will work with clients to understand their business requirements and help them improve on efficiency and productiveness and advise/identify where there are opportunities for savings or improved efficiency
I live in Preston but can travel anywhere in the North West to help clients solve their financial and costing business issues.
I have over 30 years’ experience, 20 of those at Management level. Given my background I have a broad experience, working in financial and accountancy departments, from within both the public and private sectors and I am able to provide a range of services to help clients improve their businesses. I have a passion for customer service and the services that I offer are diverse: from Project Accounting and Management Accountancy to Cost Accounting, providing a financial management function including budgeting, cashflow and forecasting, variance analysis and mentoring/implementing processes or procedures to improve financial control and business performance. I am proficient in the use of various accounting software packages.
My distinguishing factors are my dedication to solving my client's problems, strong analytical skills and Excel skills with a successful track record in trouble shooting financial scenarios, assistance with External Funding Grants and Claims and preparation for Audit. I have a personable approach to consulting with the ability to speak to non-financial managers about financial matters.
