Proud to have been born in London and following an initial 6 year spell in mechanical engineering and a very short spell in the Royal Navy, the road ahead lay in electro-mechanical design and development. Little did Paul know that computers were just around the corner and when in the 1970's his boss dropped a large box of computer cards he needed to input to the terminal his career in software was launched! (Helped to re-collate the program cards).

Well, software development for the Nuclear, Aerospace and Medical industries meant that this career took the hard road but the way was most interesting and further education with the Open University at various times showed a masochistic approach to life.

Following a period of project management and software related contracts whilst running a one man band consultancy, Kontrolit.net was launched in 1998 with two major contracts for blue chip companies.

The year 2000 saw others brought on board to promote web design whilst Paul continued to work on other software. Over the last eleven years the company has grown in size, ability and reputation as it applies a strong ethos on helping the client.

Well a heart operation in 2005 saw a turning point for out of hours pastimes which is why the link to model railways, which (you guessed it) tend to be computerised! And the gym figures highly too. The rest is boring but the latest count on computers at home is about 13 (edit: now down to 5) - but what did you expect for a guy who has been around from before the first personal computers.
