Keith Holdsworth started his IT career in 1981, performing a variety of IT support roles for npower (and all its previous incarnations) for the next 23 years. Starting as a junior computer operator in its data centre, Keith moved through the ranks to become Shift Leader in charge of a team of 5, responsible for all aspects of data centre management. He then moved into a support role, looking after 200 plus servers, latterly project managing npower's IT disaster recovery plan.
In 2004 Holdsworth IT Services was formed to provide a high quality, flexible and affordable IT support service to the small to medium sized business sector and local primary schools. A service which is different to many other support companies in that a personalised service is delivered, tailored to meet the client's needs with no retainers, tie-ins or standardised contracts.
Having an IT department is the norm for large organisations but why shouldn't that level of expertise be available to all businesses, after all we all depend on IT?
