I am Diploma qualified financial professional, CeMAP qualified, and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
I am trustee for three charities and support other charities, pro bono, with my professional knowledge. As treasurer for Comfort Rwanda and Congo, I support the great work done amongst widows, orphans and survivors of the genocide. This work is amazing,and very rewarding (I gain as much as they do)- ask me about it.
When I'm is not supporting my wife with her social enterprise ideas or helping my local community, I enjoy keeping active. I am also a caller in a Ceilidh band (Sporrandipity) which keeps me fit. I have recently taken up running half marathons and completed my first full marathon in 2016.
