In 2005, I was overweight and in an unhealthy relationship. Whilst I was a successful manager 9-5 Monday to Friday, outside of these hours my life
was spiralling out of control. The sudden and unexpected death of a school friend gave me the wakeup call that I needed and I felt empowered to make changes.
Over the next few years, I moved on from the relationship and managed my weight loss.
Determined to make positives from these experiences, I chose to study nutrition and became a licensed ‘Springboard Consultancy’ trainer, so that I could deliver Self Development Programmes to women. Since 2014, I have delivered the programme to over 200 women, including a programme
specifically for women survivors of domestic abuse.
I have worked in the public sector for 20 years, the last 8 years as a senior manager and I am a member of CMI with Level 6 qualification in
Management and Leadership.
I am a single parent to my very active 15yr old son, and when I am not working, you will find me training to compete in Strongwoman competitions or watching him play basketball. My life experiences have given me a great opportunity to support and empower others to reach their full potential.
