Some 8 years ago I was asked to help a young friend who was suffering from dramatic and intense panic attacks on a lengthy trip to New Zealand. I asked my local meditation teacher if she could recommend a relaxation tape to send to him. Her answer was a quick, dismissive 'NO!' which surprised me somewhat since I felt sure she would have such information at her fingertips ... but what she followed up with changed both the course of my life and my life experience up to date. She explained that she had very recently learned a new technique and that this would be the very thing for my friend.

Well, my friend never took up Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) but I certainly did and developed a keen passion for working with energy therapies from that day on.
