I originally trained as an accountant and worked for a number of subsidaries of large UK and international businesses. I held the posts of Financial controller, then Finance Director, before starting my own business. I always seemed to have worked in a sales and marketing environment as well as having charge of the IT function in most of my roles. I have been in the IT industry for over 20 years, holding various posts in Finance and Sales before starting my own software company 12 years ago. First in translation and language software and services and latterly in contact data base management software (also known as CRM), as well as sales and marketing services. I have conbination of entrepreneurial, management and sales skills, which I am able to relate to smaller businesses. My background has allowed me to visualise how businesses are and should be run and I offer free advice at 4N meetings to many new business entrepreneurs. I am considered to be motivational as well as having energy and drive. My aim is to give businesses the opportunity to maximise their customer relationships, focus on new business opportunities and help them make more money. I love networking and meeting new people and I find that 4N is a fantastic platform to do this on. I have 2 sons, who are both running their own businesses. Away from business, I have a number of interests - like cooking, eating, life, humour, literature, music etc
