Clocktower Events Ltd provides the perfect venue for parties, dinners, functions, conferences, training, events, weddings... and now has an exciting new subsidiary, the Clocktower Wellness Centre.

Situated right in the lee and at the foot of Brent Knoll, on the edge of the village of East Brent, this former vicarage has five acres of lawns and landscaped gardens. It is secluded without being isolated and is very easily accessible, barely three miles from junction 22/M5, 4 miles from Burnham on Sea and 6 from Weston super Mare.

The Clocktower itself has a genuine 18th century clock as its centrepiece; it was built in 2003 and opened by the Duke of Gloucester. It provides an 18m long hall with double doors which open onto a lawned area surrounded by well established trees and flower beds, and four additional rooms upstairs which have now been converted to create spacious treatment and therapy rooms. Parking, disabled access and toilet, catering facilities, staging and the option of tiered seating for 100 plus and additional accommodation make this a highly flexible location.

In conjunction and cooperation with other 4N members the Clocktower Wellness Centre has been created to offer different therapies and fitness regimes including Massage, Reiki healing, Relationship Coaching, Hypnotherapy, NLP, Yoga, Pilates, Dance and more.; We can also offer self catering accommodation.for up to twenty one people in nine bedrooms in one house and an additional four plus three in a cottage.

As well as providing the venue and the catering for birthday parties, wedding anniversary parties, charitable events, conferences, training, weddings, exhibitions, we also host Murder Mystery Evenings which have proved hugely successful. We do this in conjunction with Perfect Murder, a group of professional actors, who come and join us at dinner and the guests find themselves really involved in the exciting action of an Agatha Christie type country house murder....

Our aim is always to be flexible and to provide whatever the client seeks - we do not aim to provide a "package"; our prices are very reasonable and we are happy to discuss individual needs and ideas and adapt accordingly.

After nearly 20 years as an Army Officer, during which time I became the first woman to command an all male field force unit in the British Army, I retired to start my family and to take over as Head of Rossholme, an Independent School for Girls. My husband Gerry retired three years later to set up and run the IT Department in the school. Our children were born in 1987 and 1989; the eldest is now working as a journalist in Germany and our daughter is in her final year reading Social Anthopology at St Andrews University. We had been unable to expand the school to make it more viable and therefore sadly took the decision to close in 2005 and then closed Rossholme Kindergarten in 2010.

We have two other businesses: Rossholme Country Holidays which offers two properties for self catering holiday letting - the "big house" has accommodation for 21 in nine bedrooms. It is very popular for big family parties and friends' get togethers and is invariably let every weekend whilst The Gatehouse is a 2 bedroom cottage for up to seven people; Clocktower Events, based on a very attractive newly constructed building which provides the ideal venue for parties, conferences, training, functions, weddings etc and now has the subsidiary, the Clocktower Wellness Centre offering "wellness" and holistic therapy in many forms.

Our leadership, management, organisational and people skills combined with our experience from the Army, running a successful business, capacity for hard work, flexibility and the ability to lead a very successful, cheerful team make us well suited to this business. We offer a very personal, friendly service and the fact that people come back to us must say something about us!
