KB Book-keeping was started up in April 2010, as a result of Networking for one of my main clients, always having been self employed I decided it was time to start promoting my own book-keeping services. Lots of Companies are looking at outsourcing various aspects of their business and book-keeping is an ideal area to outsource. Whether you require someone weekly, monthly or even quarterly to complete your accounting records, submit your VAT Returns or simply get all your payments and receipts into a suitable format for your accountant KB Book-keeping can help you.
Specialties:
Working with small and medium sized business owners to ensure that your accounting records are up to date and accurate. Reconciling your bank accounts and VAT Returns, ensuring that they are all completed and submitted on time. Management Accounts prepared to ensure that you know exactly how well your Company is performing.
Having spent most of my professional life in accounts and payroll for a variety of companies, I decided to set up my own Limited Company in June of this year after trading on a Sole Trader basis for 18 months.
I have taken on a variety of clients which I find really interesting and challenging, it really is quite exciting learning about how different sectors operate, and it also quite interesting how each of the companies I work with can help each other, it's like our own mini network - another reason for outsourcing the bits of your business that you don't or can't do!
In my spare time I enjoy running and this year completed my first Marathon. Having tried to get into the London Marathon for 3 years the computer finally said YES. probably one of the most challenging aspects of my life so far, but the feeling of crossing that finish line in a very respectable 4:23:59 you just cannot put into words.
I also take part in Agility competitons with my mad hound, and sometimes we do quite well, although we will never be at Crufts. For some reason although we have had less time to train this year we have done a bit better in competition over the summer than last year, so not sure what that says
