Dominique Emmans: Biography

Catering is in my blood – starting out in my first Saturday job at 14, I’ve now been in the catering industry for more than 30 years,over 20 of which have been spent building up my own business, Complete Catering Service.

I trained in French and English catering colleges and have worked in four & five star hotels in France & England including the Inn on the Park, Four Seasons Hotel and the Dorchester on Park Lane, London, in the 2 Michelin star Terrace Restaurant. In these hotels I gained experience as Head Waiter, Chef & Conference & Banqueting Manager. Then followed a short stint in York as a college lecturer in front of house, before heading back to the coal face with the birth of my business Complete Catering Service in 1990. Business lunches, banquets, event catering

Complete Catering Service provides the expertise and a complete service for catering events whether large or small, business or personal. We cover Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire regularly, and have also undertaken weddings in Lancashire, Suffolk and London.

From Monday to Friday, the team at Complete Catering Service prepare and deliver 600 - 1000 + business lunches to the local business community.

In addition, and at weekends, we cater for weddings and corporate events either at various venues where we are preferred caterers or in halls or marquees at private addresses.

Complete Catering Service has also been successfully audited by both English Heritage and The National Trust to undertake corporate and wedding catering at some of England's glorious country estates.

From a business lunch for 4 to a banquet for 4000, let us be your catering specialist.

Buffets, barbecues, themed events + hire service

Whether you are a small business needing a simple sandwich buffet delivered to your office, or an event management company with large corporate clients, Complete Catering Service can deliver all your catering needs.

Visit our website to see the range of events we can cater for and typical menus, from cold buffets, barbecues or a traditional English afternoon tea to themed events such as an oriental banquet cooked in front of your guests. Menus can be chosen from those offered on our website or for a bespoke option we will work with you to create your own personal menu.

Catering for corporate events

An example of larger corporate events recently undertaken was the BT annual conference for 300 delegates, offering lunch, afternoon tea and a full bar service, culminating in a formal sit down banquet at the end of the evening.

All of this was achieved in a marquee in a field, making use of our own mobile kitchen, banqueting and bar facilities. We bring everything we need, so there is no need for you to provide any resources of your own.
