a few words about me
I spent 24 years of my business life working for a major building society, traversing the length and breadth of the country as I developed my career.
I dropped anchor in Newcastle circa 1998 when I was appointed Area Manager for the north east.
I enjoyed 7 very happy years in this position and was privileged to have been entrusted with some very exciting projects, including the first branch opening for the company in 20 years.
However, in 2005, a restructuring exercise left me with the prospect of another move, or leaving the organisation and staying put in Geordieland. It was a no-brainer!
I felt that a change of scenery would do me good as I'd become a bit stale, so I headed into a temporary position with CIS, managing their collector force in the north-east. When that came to an end, I worked for a short time as a mortgage manager, before falling into the welcoming arms of self-employed work in the form of Will writing consulting with Allguard.
New from Allguard: Business & Welfare Lasting Powers of Attorney
Allguard already offers its clients the Property & Affairs LPA, and we are now delighted to offer both Welfare and Business LPA's as well.
Business : If you or one of your clients finds themselves injured or seriously ill in the future, who would look after their business affairs? Who can carry out day to day business decisions, and if the courts were left to decide, would the appointed individual[s] have been of your choosing?
Our Business LPA includes restrictions to clarify what your attorney[s] can or cannot do.
Health & Welfare: With this LPA, you can ensure that people you love and trust can make important decisions in respect of your health if you lose mental capacity. These decisions could include life sustaining treatment or decisions in respect of your medication. It is vital, with this LPA, that an individual discusses the implications of this course of action with their chosen attorneys before completing the documentation.
If you require any further information, then please don't hesitate to get in touch.
