About Pam Mannell

Well, I thought I really ought to add something here, so ...

I moved to Milton Keynes in 2005, but have worked in Cranfield since 1998 so know the area pretty well by now. In my "spare time" (?) I enjoy gardening and growing a few veg in my small plot, reading - just about anything, and pretending to keep fit (ok, I know I should do more).

Work wise ...

I worked for a large company for almost 18 years (MDIS/Northgate in Hemel Hempstead) and during this time was involved in many different areas including training, pre-sales, post-sales, technical support and project management. For many of those years I specialised in public sector and police customers so have a good background in dealing with organisations of all sizes and types. I was heavily involved in setting up the first PC applications training within the company, and managed the process of obtaining BS 5750 for the Training Department.

When approached by some ex-colleagues to work for their CRM consultancy I took the plunge and worked for RD Associates for over 12 years.

Time to move on, and I have now set up my own Consultancy - CRM Essentials - concentrating on ACT! & GoldMine and FuseMetrix, with emphasis on cost effective training for smaller businesses to help them get what they need from their CRM solution.  In both my previous jobs my role has always involved a large element of training - both classroom based and one-to-one consultancy.

Here I really enjoy the variety of getting involved in all aspects of the business - one day I am training, then fixing problems or implementing new system or changes for existing clients. We have a large number of clients, many of whom have been with us for a long time. Our aim is to build long lasting friendships with our customers - mixing socially with some, and going to weddings!
