I have worked in marketing and PR for almost 20 years - in-house for large and small companies and as a consultant for a London based agency.
I became self-employed in 2005 and worked as a freelance marketing consultant. I always say this was "cheating" in terms of being self-employed because I mainly got paid a retainer and was passed the work. That's not really what being a business owner is really all about is it?? The reality came when I stopped with the retained model and started to look for my own clients and doing my own work. Thankfully, the first network I sampled was 4Networking and I have quite literally never looked back. My business has changed over the years, and continues to do so. And I love it!
I've been a member of 4N since 2009. My business thrives off 4N and I'm a very proud Regional Leader for groups in Cheshire, Shropshire, North Wales, The Wirral and Merseyside. Some there already, some coming soon! Loving every minute!
When I am not attending to my business baby or networking, I love to ski, play badminton (quite badly), watch my 16 year old grow into a young man, and generally enjoy being a social butterfly!
