Natural Solutions specialises in the natural and alternative approach to menopause. My son (who is now 17 years old), was born with severe learning disabilities and for the first few years of his life struggled with one illness after another, his behaviour was appalling and out of control and by the time he was 7 years old, I was at the end of my tether. We were referred to a child psychiatrist who within 10 minutes of watching my son's behaviour had written a prescription for Ritalin. Ritalin is a Class B drug and has the same effects as amphetamines on normal people. I came away confused and angry that we did not know 'why' he was so badly behaved. So I went to see a Complementary Health Practitioner and we were told he was very allergic to milk and dairy products and wheat and gluten. We took him off those foods and within days, he was transformed and his behaviour was teh best it had been for as long as I could remember. He continued to make progress and his health improved, his digestion improved and all in all we never looked back. That led me into this fascinating world of nutrition and natural health. The adage 'You are what you eat' is so true and my son is testament to that. He continues to experience good health and hasn't required anti-biotics or medication for years.
I trained in London for 5 years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and achieved Diplomas in Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine and Nutritional Therapy. I am registered with BANT and URHP and also a member of the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council). I am passionate about food and the food we eat. And I love to tell people about it and share my knowledge.
