After studying Law at Lancaster University (1996-99) and obtaining my LLB (Hons), I completed my legal education at the College of Law, Chester (1999-2000) where I studied and passed the Legal Practice Course.

I trained and qualified as a Solicitor at Ricksons (now DWF), qualifying as a solicitor in 2002.

I remained in private practice for a further 7 years, (most recently as an Associate with Irwin Mitchell LLP), specialising in Insolvency, Corporate Recovery and Dispute Resolution.

In 2009 I launched TLC Consulting Limited, a Business Consultancy providing technical, commercial and (non-reserved) legal services. I am now a non-practicing solicitor and (by virtue of reduced overheads) I am able to provide clients with 13 years of legal and commercial experience at far more attractive rates than those charged by my contemporaries.
